Casio surprised us with a new
Bluetooth G-Shock at the international Consumer Electronics Show,
January 2012 and in March 2012 at Baselworld. At the time of release,
March 2012 the watch only communicated with a few Japanese smart phones,
but recently Casio revealed an App will be available for the iPhone. As
it works only on phones that support Bluetooh 4.0, so it will work only
with the iPhone 4s and iPhone 5.
In the display of the
watch you can for instance see if you have new e-mail, text messages (iMessages?),
who's calling, silence your phone by tapping the screen and it has an
proximity alarm (if you walk away from your phone too far, an alarm will
