The GW-M5600 was the long waited 5 bands Waveceptor version with classic G-Shock design. According the promotional CD-Rom that was distributed at the end of 2007 in Singapore, Casio gives the updates of the classical DW-5000C design a Type number. According this system, the GW-M5600 can be announced as model Type VI. Although the amount of text around the display, the digits on this watch are pretty big and bold. Although a Waveceptor model was released earlier (GW-5600), this model was never released in Europe and never could receive the European signals.
