The Gold Defender series were designed to follow the young spring 2002 fashion. Popular models were designed with gold colored accents and decorated with one of four Chinese spirits. The DW-056GM is decorated with the "Blue Dragon" of the east, the DW-069GM with the "Black Tortoise intertwined with a snake" of the North, the G-2300GM with the "Red Phoenix" of the South and the G-200GM with the "White Tiger" of the west. The case and watchband of the G-200GM Frogman features a light polarizing gold finishing, so it's radiance changes when viewed under different angles. The G-2300GM features a gold painted case with a green watchband. The DW-056GM and DW-069GM are basic black models, with gold logo and lettering.
