The Green Collection series
was first released in January 2010 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of
Earth Day, April 22nd, 2010. The glossy green color is inspired by the green
of trees that bath in sunlight. A second series were released in East Asia
in July 2010 and in February 2011 a third series were released.
The Green Collection series is in Japan called the "Green Colors" series and in the US the "Go Green" series. They are all packed in these cardboard boxes made of recycled paper. The boxes are slightly smaller than the usual G-Shock boxes. |
