In May 2011
G-Shock collaborated with Eric Haze to produce a series of 3 models to
support Japan after the enormous Earthquake followed by the tsunami om
March 11, 2011. All proceeds of the sale went to relief support projects
in Japan. The models were this DW-6900FS-8HJ, a G-7900A-7HJ and a
GA-110C-7HJ. All were packed like this one. It's actiuually the new
style hexagonal G-Shock can in it's standard box with a special Hope
Japan sleeve around it.
The watch is actually a basic DW-6900FS-8,
but with the Hope Japan logo printed on it. The Haze signature is only
present on the white sleeve. The color is often discribed as light gray.
It is very light gray, so it looks white, with a very little bit of blue
in it. It gives the watch quite more character than just plain hard
white I think. It's a very good looking watch. There were only 100 of
each model sold, and only in the USA. |
