In 1998 Casio was the
official time keeper of the annual Malta Middle Sea Race organized by
the Royal Malta Yacht Club and Royal Ocean Racing Club. The Two flags
are the burgees (yacht club flags) of both clubs. When the EL backlight is used, the trophy
for the winner of the race lights up.
