In 2007 the G-8100 was added to the basic G-Shock line. Like the G-8000 model, this model has a very different, more futuristic,  design than other basic models. I love the G-8000 model, but I'm myself not too sure about this model.

It has a dual Illuminator on board, but frankly I can't see the extra use of it on this one. The functions are not lighted up, like with the G(W)-9000 Mudman and G(W)-9100 Gulfman models.
