The GLX-5500-1DR was released in May 2009. The glossy strap and bezel with the exotic print make this model the ideal watch for surfing on tropical beaches. The metallic ring around the display looks maroon from a distance, but when light plays with it, it can change into lighter purple shades. Pretty cool!
