The
G-Shock Desktop Accessory is a little Active X program, showing an
I.C.E.R.C. Frogman. Ozzie was searching for one and my fellow countryman Ed
found the original file. To make the program run on a computer running
Windows XP, you need two small .OCX drivers. Follow these steps and you will
be able to run this funny little program on your computer too!
Download here the main
program G-ShockDTA
In
Windows XP the program asks for the following following files. If needed
save them in the following folder: %systemroot%\System32
comdlg32.ocx
MCI32.OCX
Note: It's an old Win95 program. A test
drive on Win2000 learned these files were not needed.
Now
you can start the program G-ShockDTA and it will extract. Copy a link to the
program Frogman to your desktop and the program will open.
I
have no idea what the menu's are within the program, but the sounds
you'll find in the G-ShockDTA folder (mine were placed in the root) suspect
that this program has alarm functions.
Thanks to Ozzie and Ed for the tip and research to the missing files. Thanks
to you this program will now survive time!
The
screenshot below shows the program running on my desktop.
